  • The Cancun 2026 Tournament is hosted by OneHockey International at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico.
    Exact dates will be announced closer to the event, but it will take place in spring 2026.

  • Your stay includes lodging, meals, tournament access, and resort amenities. Families can enjoy the full resort experience while players compete and participate in team activities throughout the week. See full details at ONe Hockey’s website here: https://cancun.onehockey.com/resort/

  • Not necessarily. Many players are invited based on performance and coach recommendations—but we also review applications from interested players. If your player wasn’t directly invited, you can still complete the Interest Form to be considered for open roster spots.

  • Yes! ✅
    Lakes Elite is designed to work alongside your association team, not replace it. Our programs and tournaments are scheduled to complement the regular season, giving players more opportunities to develop, compete, and grow—without conflicting with their main team.

  • Teams are generally being built for 2012–2016 birth years, with some flexibility depending on skill level and tournament divisions.

  • By age, current level, and coach evaluation (including attitude/effort/coachability). We place players where they’ll be challenged and successful. Coaches may adjust groups in Weeks 1–2 to optimize development.

  • No problem. Our coaching staff reviews each player individually and places them on the team that best fits their current skill level and development goals.

  • The program runs 10 weeks with 1–2 sessions per week (varies by cohort). Session windows are grouped by age/level and sent with your acceptance email. We aim for consistent evening/weekend blocks so families can plan ahead.

  • Yes—each team includes limited goalie-specific roster spots. We recommend applying early, as these fill quickly.

  • Deposits secure roster spots and are non-refundable once accepted due to travel commitments and roster limitations.
